The little houses outside our apartment used to be affordable lodging for employees of the Schindler elevator factory.\u00c2\u00a0 That was a long time ago; the current occupants were a different crowd and the houses nearing their end of life.\u00c2\u00a0 The owners won the right to tear them down and replace them after Emmen voted in their favor, so we’re getting treated to quite the spectacle outside our house.\u00c2\u00a0 Here are a few videos of what we got to see.<\/p>\n
