Joseph developed a game with a box<\/a> that involved running around with it on his head<\/a>, the throwing it off<\/a>.\u00c2\u00a0 He learned another game, B\u00c3\u00b6pperle<\/a>, at Christmas, which could be used as a way to get him to eat a bite.\u00c2\u00a0 He can also spin tops<\/a> quite well (the video had me undo my earphones, get up and answer the phone, before I realized it was in the video).\u00c2\u00a0 Joseph sometimes cleans up better if he can count his toys.\u00c2\u00a0 Counting by threes<\/a> is a favorite.\u00c2\u00a0 He also likes his collapsing tunnel<\/a>, which he can undo himself.\u00c2\u00a0 He’s always finding new areas to help, for instance making orange juice<\/a>.\u00c2\u00a0 Janet set up finger paints<\/a> for him, a first (and given the work involved, possibly a last for a while).<\/p>\n Vivienne, still unable to walk, is quite able to climb up on her high chair<\/a>.\u00c2\u00a0 She loves hugging<\/a> and snuggling.\u00c2\u00a0 We think her first word was “strength”<\/a> – the video will show why.\u00c2\u00a0 She expanded her mobility ever so slightly with the box for the building blocks<\/a>.\u00c2\u00a0 We’ve set out a number of musical instruments, and the kids enjoy them.\u00c2\u00a0 Vivienne’s working on her kazoo mastery<\/a> (as is Joseph<\/a> – take two<\/a>), but not neglecting her dancing<\/a>.\u00c2\u00a0 Janet’s tried to capture her saying “Joseph” – usually unsuccessfully<\/a>.<\/p>\n The two can also play well together<\/a>, which usually lasts until the camera’s discovered.\u00c2\u00a0 One game they like is for Joseph to spin Vivienne on the office chair<\/a>, again and again<\/a>.\u00c2\u00a0 Another game is to put things away<\/a> together.\u00c2\u00a0 Yet another is hide and seek<\/a> on the bed<\/a>.<\/p>\n We’ve also immortalized their eating styles<\/a>.<\/p>\n January 13th was Joseph and Vivienne’s dedication<\/a>.\u00c2\u00a0 Cornelia was so kind as to take pictures, which is what you hear on the record.\u00c2\u00a0 We also took the opportunity to celebrate Vivienne’s first birthday<\/a> with a candle and a muffin.\u00c2\u00a0 She was still more interested in the ribbons<\/a> and packaging than the gifts she received.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" This series is for all our mothers.\u00c2\u00a0 We are grateful for your care and concern and love you very much!
