Your kids, when they discover the video camera, are like their cousins on Skype. 🙂
And yet most teens and adults dislike being on camera. Why is that, I wonder?

Self-consciousness, and self-criticism, I suspect. We think we look stupid on camera; they think it’s great to see themselves.
The question I have is whether Vivienne actually got any beets IN her mouth. I remember those days. So cute.
Linda, you’re probably right. At some point we come to realize that what we do can be compared to the imagined standard of others’ expectations, and we don’t live up to them. So either we work hard to look good or we refuse to show anything.
DSTB: She did get some in, but not 100%, that’s for sure. 🙂
